The above position has become available the Kaalfontein Depot in our Operations Department. The role will mainly focus on managing product master data and non-stock purchases in line with company requirements to ensure effective service delivery to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities include:

Main responsibilities include:

  • Set-up new product database information.
  • Support day-to-day product data activities, such as opening of new UOM, item restrictions, discontinued products, Product Life Cycle Management, etc.
  • Coordinate the creation and maintenance of all SKU's (Stock Keeping Units)
  • Control product information alignment, consistency, accuracy and quality.
  • Initiate procedures for protocols and maintenance of product data.
  • Standardisation of product categorizations, coding and descriptions across all data basis of Starke Ayres companies (Namibia, Zambia and Kenya).
  • Procure non-stock items.
  • Expedite orders and amend delivery dates if required.
  • Assist with Packaging Material Purchases
  • Maintain BBBEE procurement data
  • Maintain accurate filing systems.


Minimum requirements:

Minimum requirements:

  • Purchasing Diploma
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Computer literacy essential (Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook and Excel).
